Terms of engagement and website use
These terms cover website use and the framework for dossier-review engagements. Individual engagement letters may add pack-specific conditions.
Acceptance
By browsing this website or requesting an estimate from LedgerScope Application Audit, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site and do not submit materials for review.
Services described
Pages describing engagements, fees, and processes are informational. A binding engagement begins only when both parties accept a written engagement letter that identifies the pack, fee, timeline, and confidentiality terms.
Intellectual property
Website copy, visual design, and original field notes remain the property of LedgerScope Application Audit. Findings memos and annotated schedules prepared for a client become that client’s materials for their internal use and submission purposes. You may not republish our field notes as your own advisory product.
Client materials
You represent that you have the right to share application packs and related exhibits with us. You remain responsible for the accuracy of source documents you author. Our review does not transfer ownership of your ledgers, forecasts, or collateral lists.
No assurance opinion
Application dossier audits are not statutory audits, reviews, or other assurance engagements under Taiwan professional standards. We do not issue opinions on whether financial statements are fairly presented. Lenders and grantors make their own credit or award decisions.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law in Taiwan, LedgerScope Application Audit is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from website use or from reliance on a findings memo, including delayed loan decisions, declined applications, or opportunity costs. Our aggregate liability for a paid engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement unless an engagement letter states otherwise.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China). Courts located in Taiwan shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from website use or engagements, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that may apply.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use of the site after posting constitutes acceptance of the revised terms for website use. Active engagement letters are changed only by written agreement.
